This year we will be holding a special election to select a candidate to represent the TJCCNA in the upcoming WTCCJC 8th term Presidential election in September, 2017.
All candidates interested in the nomination need to submit required documentation to support their qualification by November 27, 2016, including the following:
– Biography and Profile
– Vision statement
– Three (3) recommendation letters from members of the Chamber
– One (1) recommendation letter from members of the Junior Chamber.
Examples of the above material may be found on the TJCCNA website.
Note that all required information need to be submitted to Justin Wei by the required deadline via email:
The election will be held on December 10th, 2016 at the 2nd meeting (mid year) in Tampa provided that the quorum requirement is met.
Alternatively, an online election could be held in February 2017 based on the meeting discussions in Tampa.
Time is of the essence for this election; over the past three WTCCJC terms (5th, 6th, and 7th term) the tradition has been for the WTCCJC candidate to present their candidacy at the mid-year WTCCJC conference to have their qualification reviewed by the Election Committee. The WTCCJC leadership team has communicated that similar expectations are placed on our continent (NA) for the 8th term.
The timing of the election allows the candidate ample time to campaign around the world in the months to follow.
Qualified candidates eligible for the primary WTCCJC NA election will be announced and published on the TJCCNA website by November 28, 2016.
