Taiwan Scholarship
In an effort to encourage outstanding international students (excluding students from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau) to undertake degree studies in Taiwan so as to familiarize themselves with the academic environment in Taiwan and promote communication, understanding and friendship between Taiwan and countries around the world, the Ministry of Education (MOE) established the Taiwan Scholarship Program.  Deadline Mar 31

Taiwan International Graduate Program
The Taiwan International Graduate Program is a Ph.D. program by Academia Sinica. In cooperation with top universities in Taiwan, Academia Sinica offers advanced, inter-disciplinary Ph.D. Programs, in nine fields that span the natural and physical sciences, as well as computational linguistics. All applicants who are admitted to TIGP will receive a fellowship from Academia Sinica. Stipend levels are about USD 11,000 per year, and will be awarded for the first three years.  Deadline Mar 31

Huayu Enrichment Scholarship
The Ministry of Education (MOE) in the Republic of China (Taiwan) provides the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES) for foreign Mandarin/Chinese learners including beginners to study at any accredited Mandarin center in a university or college in Taiwan.  Deadline Mar 31

Scholarship Program for Advanced Mandarin Studies (AMS)
TECRO is offering this award to American undergraduate and graduate students, who are enrolled as full-time students at a U.S. college or university, and who are interested in improving their Mandarin language proficiency through study abroad at a university in Taiwan. Only undergraduate and graduate students who have completed the necessary Mandarin study pre-requisites will be considered for this award.  Deadline Mar 31

Taiwan-United States Sister Relations Alliance Ambassador Summer Scholarship (TUSA)
The TUSA Summer Scholarship Program is an Ambassador program. A unique program especially designed for students who will be representing their state as well as the United States, acting as ambassadors to Taiwan. Upon returning to the United States, students will be expected to act as ambassadors of good will for both the United States and Taiwan whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Taiwan Senior High School Scholarship
This program aims to provide foreign senior high school students the opportunity to study Chinese and experience Taiwan’s rich and abundant culture first hand, while also increasing international diversity in Taiwan’s senior high schools.  Deadline May 10

NATMA Foundation Scholarship
NATMA Foundation is offering a total of five (5) $ 1,000 scholarship grants to medical/dental/allied health students and residents or fellow-in-training of Taiwanese American descent to recognize their academic excellence and contributions to Taiwanese American community.  Deadline May 1
